Aminoglutethimide
An aromatase inhibitor and adrenal steroidogenesis inhibitor that reduces the production of steroid hormones including estrogen and cortisol, historically used to treat hormone-dependent breast cancer and Cushing's syndrome. It has been largely superseded by newer, more selective aromatase inhibitors for breast cancer treatment.
