Iodipamide
This iodinated contrast agent was used for cholecystography and cholangiography, diagnostic X-ray procedures to visualize the bile ducts and gallbladder. It is excreted in bile after intravenous administration, allowing imaging of the biliary tree. This compound has been largely replaced by ultrasound, MRI, and other imaging modalities.
