Phenoxypropazine
Phenoxypropazine is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) that irreversibly inhibits both MAO-A and MAO-B enzymes, thereby increasing synaptic concentrations of serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. It was investigated as an antidepressant but was largely supplanted by safer antidepressant classes due to its significant food and drug interaction profile.
