Tinzaparin Sodium
Tinzaparin sodium is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) derived by enzymatic depolymerization of unfractionated heparin that primarily inhibits factor Xa through antithrombin III, with lesser anti-IIa (thrombin) activity, providing predictable anticoagulation with subcutaneous administration. It is used for the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and anticoagulation in certain cancer patients with venous thromboembolism. Its predictable pharmacokinetics allow once-daily dosing without routine monitoring in most patients.
