Viloxazine hydrochloride is the hydrochloride salt form of viloxazine, a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor and serotonin modulating agent used for ADHD treatment. The hydrochloride salt form is used in extended-release oral capsule formulations that allow once-daily dosing. Its non-stimulant mechanism of action provides an alternative to amphetamine-based ADHD medications with no abuse potential.
