Denosumab
A human monoclonal antibody that inhibits RANKL, a key mediator of osteoclast activity, thereby reducing bone breakdown; used to treat osteoporosis, bone metastases, and giant cell tumors of bone. At higher doses used for oncology indications it carries a risk of hypocalcemia and osteonecrosis of the jaw.
