Pirbuterol
Pirbuterol is a selective short-acting beta-2 adrenergic receptor agonist that causes bronchodilation by relaxing bronchial smooth muscle through activation of adenylyl cyclase and increased intracellular cAMP. It is used as a bronchodilator for the relief of acute bronchospasm in asthma and other obstructive airway diseases.
