Primidone
An anticonvulsant medication used to control certain types of seizures in epilepsy, and is also used to treat essential tremor, an involuntary shaking that affects the hands and other parts of the body. Part of the drug is converted in the body to phenobarbital, which contributes to its seizure-controlling effects.
