Ritodrine
A beta-2 adrenergic agonist used to delay premature labor by relaxing the uterine smooth muscle, giving more time for fetal lung maturation or transfer to a specialized care facility. Its use has largely been replaced by other tocolytic agents due to cardiovascular side effects.
