Halobetasol Propionate
A very high-potency topical corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. It reduces inflammation and itching by suppressing the local immune response in the skin. Due to its potency, treatment duration and body surface area should be limited to minimize systemic absorption.
