Tasonermin
Tasonermin is a recombinant human tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) used as an antineoplastic agent via isolated limb perfusion in combination with melphalan for soft tissue sarcoma and unresectable limb melanoma and lymphoma. It exerts direct cytotoxic effects on tumor vasculature and induces apoptosis in tumor cells through TNF receptor activation. Its use is restricted to locoregional administration due to severe systemic toxicity when administered intravenously.
