Cefotetan Disodium
The disodium salt formulation of cefotetan is used parenterally for the treatment and prophylaxis of polymicrobial infections with anaerobic components. It shares the cephamycin-class activity and the associated coagulation risks of the parent compound. Vitamin K levels should be monitored in patients on prolonged courses.
