Ceftolozane Sulfate
The sulfate salt form of ceftolozane, commercially combined with tazobactam as a fixed-dose intravenous preparation for multidrug-resistant gram-negative infections. It is particularly active against Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains resistant to carbapenems. Therapeutic drug monitoring may be considered in patients with fluctuating renal function.

Mécanisme d'action
Selectively blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, preventing the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II. This results in vasodilation, reduced sodium retention, and decreased blood pressure.
