Colistin
A polymyxin antibiotic that disrupts the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, used as a last-resort treatment for infections caused by multidrug-resistant organisms such as Acinetobacter and Pseudomonas. Its significant risk of kidney and nerve toxicity limits its use to severe infections with no other options.
