Acoramidis Hydrochloride
The hydrochloride salt formulation of acoramidis, a transthyretin stabilizer used to treat transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy. It works identically to acoramidis, binding to the transthyretin protein and preventing it from dissociating into the misfolded fragments that accumulate as amyloid in cardiac tissue. Consistent three-times-daily dosing is important to maintain adequate drug levels for effective protein stabilization.
