Capmatinib
A targeted therapy that specifically inhibits the MET receptor tyrosine kinase, which is abnormally activated in certain non-small cell lung cancers due to MET exon 14 skipping mutations. By blocking MET, it suppresses tumor growth and spread in these genetically defined tumors. Peripheral edema, nausea, and fatigue are among the most common side effects.
