Goserelin
A synthetic gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist used to reduce testosterone or estrogen levels as a treatment for prostate cancer, breast cancer, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids by initially stimulating and then suppressing sex hormone production. Regular monthly or three-monthly subcutaneous implants maintain hormone suppression. It is also used to protect ovarian function during chemotherapy.
