Lypressin
This synthetic form of lysine vasopressin, an antidiuretic hormone similar to ADH, was used as a nasal spray to treat diabetes insipidus, a condition where the kidneys cannot concentrate urine properly, leading to excessive thirst and urination. It has been largely replaced by desmopressin, a longer-acting synthetic analog.
