Tozinameran (BNT162b2, Comirnaty) is an mRNA vaccine encoding the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein, encapsulated in lipid nanoparticles that facilitate cellular uptake and endosomal escape, allowing ribosomes to translate the spike protein and trigger humoral and cellular immune responses.
