Sacrosidase
Sacrosidase is a liquid enzyme replacement therapy containing recombinant yeast sacrosidase (sucrase), used to treat congenital sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (CSID), a rare genetic disorder. It hydrolyzes dietary sucrose into fructose and glucose in the small intestinal brush border, replacing the deficient endogenous enzyme and allowing normal carbohydrate absorption. The enzyme is derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and administered orally with each meal.
作用機序
As a recombinant protein, it replicates the function of the naturally occurring human protein, supplementing or replacing deficient endogenous production to restore normal physiological activity.
Pharmacokinetics (PK)
Pharmacodynamics (PD)
