Sulconazole
Sulconazole is a broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal agent used topically for the treatment of dermatophyte infections including tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea versicolor. It inhibits fungal lanosterol 14-alpha demethylase, a cytochrome P450 enzyme essential for ergosterol biosynthesis, disrupting fungal cell membrane integrity and function. It also has some anti-gram-positive bacterial activity.
