Vecuronium
This neuromuscular blocking agent is used during surgery or mechanical ventilation in hospitals to cause temporary paralysis of skeletal muscles, facilitating tracheal intubation and surgical procedures. It works by blocking the neuromuscular junction so that nerve signals cannot trigger muscle contractions. It has no pain-relieving or sedating properties and must always be used alongside appropriate anesthesia.
