Flurazepam
A benzodiazepine medication prescribed for the short-term treatment of insomnia, helping patients fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer by enhancing the activity of GABA, a calming brain chemical. Due to its long half-life, it may cause next-day drowsiness and impair coordination. It carries a risk of dependence and is not recommended for long-term use.
