Technetium pyrophosphate (99mTc-PYP) is a bone-seeking radiopharmaceutical that has gained renewed clinical importance for the non-invasive diagnosis of transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CA) through myocardial scintigraphy, where it binds to amyloid fibrils in the myocardium.
