Dalteparin Sodium
A low-molecular-weight heparin that prevents and treats blood clots by inhibiting factor Xa and thrombin in the coagulation cascade. It is injected subcutaneously and used for deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism prevention, and extended venous thromboembolism treatment in cancer patients.
