A combination of diphenhydramine and 8-chlorotheophylline used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness from motion sickness and vertigo. The diphenhydramine component blocks histamine and muscarinic receptors involved in the vomiting reflex. It commonly causes drowsiness, which can be both a therapeutic benefit (for motion sickness) and a limiting side effect.
