Menadiol Diphosphoric Acid
This water-soluble form of vitamin K3 (menadione) was used to treat vitamin K deficiency and the bleeding problems associated with it, particularly in patients with liver disease or malabsorption syndromes. Water-soluble vitamin K forms were developed because natural vitamin K is fat-soluble and requires adequate fat absorption.
