Propyliodone
Propyliodone is an iodinated oil contrast medium formerly used for bronchography to delineate the bronchial tree radiographically by filling the airways with a radiopaque iodine-containing compound. It has largely been replaced by modern CT bronchography and other imaging modalities, but was valuable for the diagnosis of bronchial and pulmonary diseases in the mid-20th century.
