Alemtuzumab
A monoclonal antibody that depletes specific white blood cells called B and T lymphocytes, used to treat certain blood cancers and relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis. By dramatically reducing these immune cells, it can halt the autoimmune attacks that damage the protective myelin sheath around nerve fibers in MS patients.
