Axicabtagene Ciloleucel
A CAR-T cell therapy in which a patient's own T cells are genetically engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor targeting CD19, a protein on the surface of certain B-cell cancers. The modified cells are infused back to seek out and destroy cancer cells.
