Pralidoxime
Pralidoxime is a pyridinium oxime that reactivates organophosphate-inhibited cholinesterase by forming an oxime-phosphonate complex with the phosphorylated enzyme, thereby restoring normal enzyme activity and reversing the cholinergic crisis. It is used in combination with atropine for the treatment of organophosphate pesticide and nerve agent poisoning.
