Isoetharine Hydrochloride
This hydrochloride salt of isoetharine is a short-acting beta-adrenergic bronchodilator used in inhaled form to relieve acute bronchospasm. It provides rapid but brief airway relaxation by stimulating beta-2 receptors in the lung. It has been largely replaced by more selective agents such as albuterol.
