Somatrogon
Somatrogon is a long-acting recombinant human growth hormone-CTP (carboxy-terminal peptide) fusion protein for once-weekly treatment of pediatric growth hormone deficiency, created by fusing human GH with three CTP sequences from human chorionic gonadotropin beta-subunit. The CTP extensions reduce renal clearance and extend the half-life, enabling less frequent dosing while maintaining full GH receptor agonist activity. It provides equivalent growth-promoting effects to daily GH therapy with improved convenience.
