Vibrio Cholerae Toxin B Subunit
The recombinant B subunit of cholera toxin (CTB) is an immunogenic component included in oral cholera vaccines (e.g., Dukoral) that stimulates specific antibodies against the toxin binding subunit, blocking cholera toxin interaction with intestinal GM1 ganglioside receptors.
