Capromab Pendetide
A radiolabeled monoclonal antibody that targets prostate-specific membrane antigen on prostate cancer cells, used as an imaging agent to detect metastatic or recurrent prostate cancer after surgery. When labeled with a radioactive isotope, it allows nuclear medicine scans to identify cancer spread. It has been largely supplanted by newer prostate-specific imaging agents.
