Cetuximab
A monoclonal antibody that targets and blocks the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), inhibiting downstream signaling that promotes cancer cell proliferation and survival. It is used to treat EGFR-expressing colorectal cancer (in patients without RAS mutations) and squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck. Infusion reactions and acneiform skin rash are characteristic adverse effects.
