Dienestrol
A synthetic nonsteroidal estrogen used topically as a vaginal cream to treat vaginal atrophy and dryness in postmenopausal women. It is structurally related to diethylstilbestrol and restores vaginal tissue health by locally supplementing estrogen. Systemic absorption is minimal with vaginal use at recommended doses.
