Simoctocog alfa is a recombinant B-domain deleted human coagulation factor VIII produced in human embryonic kidney cells, used for the prevention and treatment of bleeding episodes in patients with hemophilia A. As a B-domain deleted factor VIII, it retains full procoagulant activity while offering manufacturing advantages including human cell line production that may reduce immunogenicity. It is administered intravenously for on-demand bleeding treatment and prophylaxis.

作用机制

As a recombinant protein, it replicates the function of the naturally occurring human protein, supplementing or replacing deficient endogenous production to restore normal physiological activity.
