Technetium Gluceptate
Technetium gluceptate (99mTc-glucoheptonate) is a renal radiopharmaceutical that is partially filtered by the glomerulus and partially bound to renal tubular cells, enabling both renal perfusion and cortical imaging by SPECT. It is used to assess renal blood flow, cortical morphology, and differential renal function. The dual mechanism of excretion provides complementary dynamic and static renal imaging information.
