Dihydroergotamine
An ergot-derived medication used to treat acute migraine and cluster headache attacks by constricting blood vessels and modulating serotonin and adrenergic receptors. It is available as a nasal spray and injectable form. It should not be used within 24 hours of triptans and is contraindicated in people with cardiovascular disease due to its vasoconstrictive effects.
