Lomitapide
A microsomal triglyceride transfer protein (MTP) inhibitor used to treat homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, a rare genetic disorder causing extremely high cholesterol. It reduces LDL cholesterol by blocking the assembly of lipoproteins in the liver.
