Ropeginterferon Alfa-2B
Ropeginterferon alfa-2b is a novel mono-pegylated proline-interferon alfa-2b with antiviral and antiproliferative properties, used for the treatment of polycythemia vera and chronic hepatitis C. It acts by binding to cell surface receptors to activate the JAK-STAT signaling pathway, suppressing viral replication and abnormal cell proliferation. Its extended half-life allows for less frequent dosing compared to conventional interferons.
