Hydroflumethiazide
A thiazide diuretic used to treat high blood pressure and edema by increasing urinary sodium and water excretion from the kidneys, reducing blood volume and relaxing blood vessel walls. It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents for better blood pressure control. Monitoring of electrolytes, particularly potassium, is recommended during treatment.
