Tivozanib
This targeted therapy is used to treat adults with relapsed or refractory advanced renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer) after two or more prior treatments. It works by blocking VEGF receptors, which cuts off the blood supply that tumors need to grow and spread. It is taken as an oral capsule on a schedule of three weeks on and one week off.
