## Overview

Enalapril and ramipril are both prodrug ACE inhibitors with landmark trial evidence. Enalapril is the reference standard for HFrEF (CONSENSUS, SOLVD); ramipril is the reference standard for broad cardiovascular protection in high-risk patients (HOPE).
