Indacaterol
This ultra-long-acting beta-2 agonist (LABA) bronchodilator is inhaled once daily for the maintenance treatment of COPD and asthma. It relaxes the smooth muscle surrounding the airways, improving airflow and reducing breathlessness throughout the day. It is used as a maintenance medication and does not provide rapid relief during an acute attack.
