Plicamycin
Plicamycin (mithramycin) is an antineoplastic antibiotic produced by Streptomyces plicatus that intercalates into DNA and inhibits RNA synthesis by binding to the DNA double helix in a GC-rich region, blocking the action of RNA polymerase. It was used in the treatment of testicular cancer and hypercalcemia of malignancy, and has shown activity in breast cancer and lung cancer, though its use is limited by significant toxicity.
