Aminopyrine
An analgesic and antipyretic drug that reduces pain and fever by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, once widely used but now largely abandoned because of its ability to cause agranulocytosis, a dangerous depletion of white blood cells. It has been replaced by safer alternatives like paracetamol and ibuprofen.
