Compartment Model

A mathematical framework that represents the body as one or more kinetically homogeneous compartments to describe drug distribution and elimination. The one-compartment model assumes instantaneous distribution, while multi-compartment models account for distribution and redistribution phases. These models are foundational for pharmacokinetic parameter estimation and dosing regimen design.
