Adapalene
A topical retinoid gel or cream applied to the skin to treat acne by normalizing the shedding of skin cells inside hair follicles, preventing the blockages that lead to blackheads, whiteheads, and inflammatory pimples. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness and swelling around acne lesions. Skin irritation and dryness are common at the start of treatment and usually improve after several weeks of consistent use.
